DURING THE TOUR YOU WILL SEE:

  • Saint Petersburg is the city on the river Neva, the cultural capital, the Northern Palmyra, the city of white nights, the cradle of the revolution… Plenty of names suit the city. Despite its young age (only 300 years old) Saint Petersburg has taken a very special place in history. Most sightseeing tours start with the Peter and Paul Fortress, the first fortress-bastion and burial place of Russian Emperors. It is the oldest architectural site founded personally by Peter the Great on May 27th, 1703. The day of the foundation of the fortress is considered the city foundation day. After the sightseeing tour the acquaintance with the State Hermitage is awaiting for you. It is one of the largest art and cultural-historical museums in the world. Its main building is located in the Winter Palace, the main Emperor's residence. Your free evening means you can visit one of the famous theatres, take a stroll along the embankments of the Northern Venice, admire the bridges’ opening. Next morning you’ll head to one of the Russian Emperors’ summer residence Peterhof or Pushkin. Peterhof is a town of parks and fountains where currently function 150 fountains and 4 sculptural cascades. There you’ll visit Grand Peterhof Palace spread out for almost 300 meters down the terraсe connecting two parks (the Lower and Upper ones) in art integrated whole. Pushkin, famous Tsarskoye Selo, is the place where during the excursion of Catherine Palace you’ll see one of the miracles of the modern time – the famed Amber Room.
  • Moscow is one of the biggest metropolises in the world. Its history starts in 1147 when the prince Yury Dolgorukiy founded a small outpost on the bank of the river Moscow. During the tour you will admire the view from the University square of the Sparrow Hills and see all main landmarks of the city: Red Square, embankment of the river Moscow, monument of Peter the Great, Novodevchy convent and Christ the Savior Cathedral. On the second day you will visit the Moscow Kremlin with its mighty walls and towers, gold-domed churches and ancient «Terems» (wooden towers) that proudly rise above the river Moscow making a unique architectural ensemble inscribed on the UNESCO list of World Cultural Heritage. During the tour you will see the churches of the Cathedral Square, Patriarchal Chambers with the church of 12 Apostles, The Tsar Cannon and The Tsar Bell, Senate and Arsenal buildings. After the Kremlin visit you’ll immerse into the splendid interiors of Moscow Metro, real underground museum where each of 222 stations has its own inimitable design. Marble, mosaic, stained glass, various bronze decorations and sculptures are organically combined here. On the third day you can continue your own city exploration or order an additional excursion. In the evening you’ve got an opportunity to see the performance of Russian National Ballet “Kostroma” or to set off on a boat trip along Moscow River on board of a comfortable ship of Radisson Royal Fleet.
