DURING THE TOUR YOU WILL SEE:

  • Moscow is one of the biggest metropolises in the world. Its history starts in 1147 when the prince Yury Dolgorukiy founded a small outpost on the bank of the river Moscow. During the tour you will see the main landmarks of the city: Red Square, embankment of the river Moscow, monument of Peter the Great, Novodevchy convent and Christ the Savior Cathedral. On the second day you will visit the Moscow Kremlin with its mighty walls and towers, gold-domed churches and ancient «Terems» (wooden towers) that proudly rise above the river Moscow making a unique architectural ensemble, inscribed on the UNESCO list of World Cultural Heritage. During the tour you will see the churches of the Cathedral Square, Patriarchal Chambers with the church of 12 Apostles, The Tsar Cannon and The Tsar Bell, Senate and Arsenal buildings and, of course, the main New Year Tree of the country. Later you’ll take a stroll down the Red Square – the main symbol and most famous historical place in Moscow. But this time you’ll see not a strict and a solemn square but a bright fair with a funny skating rink. Take advantage of your spare time to skate, warm up with a hot beverage or buy presents to your family and friends in a famous GUM in the very center of Moscow. In the evening you’ll set off to “Moscow by Night” excursion to see already familiar streets and sites covered with miracle illumination transforming majestic capital into the magic city. The 31st of December you’ll devote to a leisurely promenade around old Moscow streets. Then you’ll head to New Year celebration to make a cherished wish with chime of bells! On the first day of the New Year, after breakfast, you’ll take a walk in Zaryadye Park – contemporary area located in the heart of Moscow.
