DURING THE TOUR YOU WILL SEE:

  • Saint Petersburg is the city on the river Neva, the cultural capital, the Northern Palmyra, the city of white nights, the cradle of the revolution… Plenty of names suit the city. Despite its young age (only 300 years old) Saint Petersburg has taken a very special place in history. The city is located on 42 islands connected by 360 bridges that cross the river Neva and its 65 branches and natural canals. During the sightseeing city tour you’ll see the main landmarks of the city: the Peter and Paul Fortress, the Spit of Vasilyevsky Island, Senate Square and other monuments and architectural ensembles. You will also visit St. Isaac’s Cathedral that is sometimes called the museum of colored stones as its luxurious interiors are decorated with valuable species of stones: malachite, marble, lapis lazuli, shungite, siltstone. The second day you will spend in the residences of Russian emperors – ceremonial Tsarskoye Selo, where during the visit of the grand Catherine Palace you'll admire one of the wonders of the world of modern time - revived Amber Room, and elegant Pavlovsk, where you'll visit the Paul's Palace and take troika riding in a magnificent scenery park spread over an area of 600 hectares. On December 31st you'll set off to the State Hermitage – one of the largest art and cultural-historical museums of the world. Its main building is located in the Winter Palace – the main emperors' residence. Then, having crossed the Palace Square, you'll visit the General Staff where the famous collection of impressionists is awaiting for you. It includes the masterpieces of Monet, Degas, Renoir, Gauguin, Pissarro, Matisse and others. The first day of the New Year you'll start with the stroll around the Peter and Paul Fortress, the first fortress-bastion and burial place of Russian Emperors. It is the oldest architectural site founded personally by Peter the Great on May 27th, 1703. The day of the foundation of the fortress is considered the city foundation day. Then, you'll visit luxurious Yusupov Palace that belonged to one of the richest princely families. The Palace is known not only as a museum but a place of murder of Grigory Rasputin, spiritual mentor and friend of the family of Emperor Nicholas II.

The cost of such an event from 290 euro per pax (in groups from 30 pax)
